Measurements are stored in their standard unit for each field — meters for airframe dimensions, feet for altitude, knots for speed, nautical miles for range, kilograms for weight. Switch the unit next to any field while editing and the value converts automatically.

Accounts

Feeders get an editor account the first time they open the site with ?u=<feeder UUID>. Promote them here, or create password accounts for admins.

Choose a JSON file shaped like the built-in dataset (an array of entries, or an object with a rows array). The built-in dataset stays the source of truth: rows are merged in by id — the ICAO-style designator that is this dataset's primary key — updating any entry with a matching ID and adding the rest. Nothing is deleted, and it only affects this session.
